a Tighter nose the red fruit is certainly open in style. Open and more structural in style. a growing well of finishing flavour - its a bi wave that cascades over the palate - this has a super middle and finish - it just needs to become more demonstrative at the start. Super wine i think.

1 hectare of this south facing 1er Cru on a slight slope. Light, sweet and floral. Very pretty with fine tannins, pure and delicate and fresh on the finish/ 2020-26.

The 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru has a more expressive bouquet and more fruité compared to the Savigny Vieilles Vignes, featuring raspberry, morello cherry and light citrus scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity and nicely integrated 20% new oak lending weight on the finish. Nothing extraordinary; just a well-crafted Savigny.
