Expressive Chambolle nose of red fruits, violets, spice and vanilla. The long palate features sweetly spiced red raspberries, canele, mocha and a modicum of new oak. It is full and rich with plenty of drive yet always remains charming with lovely aromatics and a silky texture. Rather classic Charmes I would say! Simply delicious, even better with a few years in the cellar.

Hmm, that's a big textured nose, but also a very attractive one. Round, beautifully textured, almost a caramel coffee depth. Thats so good. Excellent wine.
Sarah Marsh MW "The Burgundy Briefing"
Rounded, rich super ripe, quite ripe for me and in new oak.
