Domaine Justin Girardin
The Girardin family have been vintners since the beginning of the 19th century. Today, the domaine is run by Jacques (who is the brother of Vincent Girardin), his wife Valerie and their son Justin. The domaine own 17 hectares of vines, mostly in Santenay and Savigny-Les-Beaune.Â

Whilst not organic the domaine does utilize many of the techniques. Picking is done by hand, around 10% of stems are used and new oak accounts for no more than 25% of the barrels. The aim is to produce wines that reflect their terroir, which they do admirably.
