Bright dark red. Aromatic nose of small dark berries, bitter chocolate and rose petal. Deep, dark and brooding. The palate is laden with fruit and has serious depth and power. The tannins on the finish are muscular demanding some time in the cellar. All the components are there for a long lived wine. You just need to add patience.
