Burghound
A very ripe nose reflects notes of poached plum, cassis and warm earth. There is good intensity to the exceptionally rich middle weight flavors that terminate in a rustic, moderately firm and delicious finish. This is an atypically powerful Bourgogne and there is a touch of backend warmth but it's still quite impressive in its fashion. (Drink starting 2022)

Spicy whiffs of cinnamon and white pepper accent rich layers of blackberry preserve in this plump, ample Pinot Noir. Opulent and richly concentrated, it is anchored by brisk acidity and an elegant mineral sheen. This satisfying, elevated Bourgogne should drink well through 2026.
