Very deep, red-garnet. Powerful, aromatic nose of violets, spiced plum, a little vanilla. The palate is silky and spicy with great texture and a hint of oak. The wine is cool, powerful and mouthfilling with a stony earth note on the finish. 2018 has really worked for this cuvee. Not the cheapest Bourgogne rouge we import but probably the most complex.
