Volnay Les Grands Champs is a 0.24 ha monopole located in Volnay Les Mitans. This seem to come from a slightly hotter place thus offering a very generous side of the 2016 vintage. The nose is fresher than in the 2015 edition of this wine - with plenty of cool and detailed red and dark berries. On the palate vivacious but still quite a weighty fruit - vibrant and lacy/silky - with a nice balancing acidity. This is a quite sexy thing … will provide some lovely hedonistic moments.

10 hl/ha. Bouley owns the only part of the Grands Champs that is classified as premier cru. The nose is powerful with red fruits and some spiciness. The mouth is medium light with elegance, good length and spicy red and dark fruits.
