Tasted from an airfreight sample. Quite deeply coloured. Nose of black-red fruits, mineral and stony. Cherry pits, spice liquorice and black tea. Fine texture, not wide in the mouth but long and sappy. Fresh and lively and very Burgundian in style with a sneaky long finish. This is smart! Very good indeed.

From above the main road. Excellent bright red purple. The nose is really stylish, elegant pinot. A little bit softer and suppler behind without compromising the elegance. Fine and not abrasive

From the bottom of the Volnay commune - Lamboits, still on the ‘right side’ of the road.Oh, now that’s a lovely, attractive and elegant nose - a great invitation. Drive, energy, freshness, a little structure in the middle. Less rich than many with a fine, high-toned, flavour profile. Wait a little for this but it is a super wine.
