Paler than the Seurees. Nose of earth, minerals, clove and raspberry. The wine is elegantly structured and quite light on its feet for 1er Cru Gevrey. More berry, earth and mineral on the palate. Balanced and very textured. The cooler site adding restraint. Certainly not a blockbuster but a deceptively well balanced wine that says a lot about Cheron's winemaking.
