This vineyard has a similar terroir to the better known La Justices (En Jouise may have the same origin for its name), on silty gravels. Deepish purple. This has an agreeable savoury character alongside the fruit on the edge of raspberry and strawberry. A few tannins to finish, good length. A good start to the range of single vineyard Gevreys.
