As hoped for, this is another fantastic example of the special qualities of Moutonne, with great intensity of pear and apple fruit, with a faint tropical edge. Despite the concentration the fruit is pure and the focused acidity keeps the palate fresh and wanting more. The oak is barely noticeable and the wine finishes with a chalky, dry note which adds even more to the appeal. Very, very classy. Drinking window 2023-2037.

Pale lemon colour. The nose indicates class and power but is not quite ready to speak to us yet. More intense than Vaudésirs, with a very clean powerful backbone of white fruit, that just opens up a little at the end, and in a more harmonious place than Les Clos at the moment. The finish is very precise but with extra intensity lurking. Should be very good.

Made of Les Vaudésirs with a 5% dollop of Les Preuses, this is always a unique wine. This vintage shows good cut with chiselled acidity and lifting minerality. The sappy midpalate is a combination of golden apples, sweet peaches and crushed oyster shells. 2023-2034
