This comes from the village part of Aux Echanges, planted in 1923. Vivid bright purple, with a succulent velvety nose, abundant ripe fruit, but nothing cooked. A little bit of sundried cherry at the finish followed by a mineral thread which continues well afterwards. Long, and given the style, rather fine. Tasted: December 2021
