Les Chaffots is a comparatively elevated Premier Cru, situated above the Clos St Denis on a steep slope. The resulting raciness and freshness is a a real advantage in a vintage like 2018, producing a wine that is deeply coloured, intensely floral and well balanced, with appealing minerality and bite and deftly applied 30% whole bunches and new wood.
