John Gilman "View from the Cellar"
The 2018 la Justice is the lowest octane wine in the Lignier cellars this year, coming in at a very svelte 13.1 percent, and the wine is lovely, precise and red fruity in personality. The nose delivers a mix of cherries, red plums, a nice touch of beetroot, a fine base of soil, gamebird and a gentle topnote of cocoa powder. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, complex and beautifully transparent in personality, with lovely tension and grip on the long and fine-grained finish. Really good juice. (Drink between 2024-2050).
