Les Demoiselles is a 0.6 hectare white vineyard immediately to the right (north) of Montrachet. There are just three owners – Au Pied du Mont Chauve, Michel Colin-Deleger and Guy Amiot.
Jasper Morris MW says "The tiny Puligny-Montrachet Les Demoiselles is both very rare and potentially of exceptional quality, so highly sought-after." It is notably stony with a little more topsoil than Chevalier-Montrachet above. Indeed part of the vineyard owned by the powerful negociants Jadot and Latour was reclassified as Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru in the late 1930's (today, they still use the name Les Demoiselles on their labels).
