Burghound
A spicier if slightly less floral-suffused nose freely offers up a ripe array of primarily red berry fruit scents. There is terrific vibrancy to the middle weight flavors that possess excellent cut while exhibiting an acidulated cherry candy-inflected finish that flirts with sweetness. I suspect that the sweetness will attenuate will age and overall this impressively persistent effort is also one to check out. (Drink starting 2025)

Mostly from Aux Jachées with 20% in Les Chalandins. 50% new wood which it can support, and no whole bunches. Fine bright purple of medium depth. Little bouquet at this point. Rich concentrated fruit, fresh finish on the wood tannins. Good intensity here and length

Notes of wild berries, peonies, orange rind, spices and beetroot introduce the 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village, a medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping wine that's textural and charming, its powdery structuring tannins concealed in a lavish core of fruit. Derived largely from prime lieu-dit Aux Jachées, this will offer a broad drinking window.
