Burghound
This flashes the peculiar kind of reduction the Burgundians call bourgeon de cassis, or cassis blossom. There is excellent delineation to the intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that possess fine length and balance though it will need to add more depth to merit the upper-end of my projected range. Purchased grapes, where the Felettig team look after the vines. It is a blend of Aux Combottes and Les Combottes, what typical Burgundy complexity! 60% whole bunch vinification. A lighter colour here, and more reductive nose. Supple and elegant, with some oak, not too much density, as always more in length than power.
