Medium red, good acidity, slight raspberry nose, good tannins that just peak above the ample red and dark fruit flavours, generous sweetness. moderate weight on the palate, good length. This starts with a raspberry/plum flavours and as you finish the bottle the dark fruit component of cherry tends to dominate. This has the fruit to balance out the oak over time and pay dividends for one's patience. Will see if this shuts down or blossoms in a few years time. More dark fruits the second day.
