Vinous Media - Neal MArtin
The 2020 Volnay Clos de la Rougeotte 1er Cru is monopole and part of Fremiets, but tends to produce smoother wines according to Marc-Olivier Buffet. There is fine transparency on the nose: vivid red cherries and crushed strawberry aromas. The palate is harmonious with silky tannins, modest depth with a pliant tart finish. Very fine.
