The 2020 Volnay Carelle Sous La Chapelle 1er Cru has slightly darker fruit, cranberry and touches of blackcurrant, very well defined with nicely integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, lightly spiced with a gentle grip on the saline finish. Good potential.
