Fine glowing crimson purple with a really well-balanced nose, was delicate when just Faiveley but the Dupont sector brought more clay and more weight. It is certainly ripe but it is also totally in balance, giving a pure and concentrated deep red fruit with some spices round the edge, and as always for this vineyard that mineral feel at the finish.

Much richer, as expected, than Lavaux. You sense the hot slope. Powerful, dense and juicy. It's big and dense. Firm tannins. Muscular. Vigour on the finish. Needs time to come together, but excellent. 2028-40.
