Rich yellow colour, a very clear-cut bouquet with fresh wax, the roundness of Charmes. The fruit is certainly not too ripe, and there’s a lovely tingle factor. Very crisp and crunchy, and particularly persistent.

Here’s a more airy width of fruit, less golden fruit. Mouth-filling, vibrant - beautifully structured wine. That’s a really delicious wine too - very good!

Domaine du Pavillon holds 1 ha 17 across three parcels in the Dessus, or upper, and Dessous, or lower, portions of Charmes. Unsurprisingly, this wine shows the breadth of Meursault with more ethereal, floral aromatics - fitting for vines that lie both in clay (evoking the former) and on limestone (providing the latter). Lovely floral notes intertwine with melon, yellow cherry and tapioca pudding on the palate. 2022-28.
