Outgoing on the nose, this smells of bramble, wild forest berries and sweet spice. There's a good bit of smokiness mingled with the charmingly chunky fruit on the palate. The sturdy body with noticeable extract is embraced by generous, powdery tannins and reverberating acidity. 2023-30
Sarah Marsh MW "The Burgundy Briefing"
Upright, ripe, but cool redcurrant aroma. Clean-cut edges. Concentrated but precise. Brushes off its 14% ABV. Good tension. Fine-textured tannins, with an airy, herbal touch, and I like the fresh, sappy follow through, with a touch of silk to finish. A stylish and refined NSG. 2025-30.
