Very deep garnet-purple. Bright. A powerfully dark fruited nose full of berries with notes of liquorice and spice. There’s a hint of fresh new oak. It’s an enticing amalgam of aromas. The palate is sleek with a little Gevrey iron and fine but present tannins. In fact the tannins are super as they contribute to the texture and length. This still looks like a baby. Oh, how good Gevrey can be!

Ooh, this has such an unctuous, cassis and perfumed nose. Lots of volume, energy
