From very old vines. Bright green-yellow. Fresh, cool nose of citrus, buttered popcorn and honeycomb with a little white peppery spice behind. The wine has moved from the “new” phase to something starting to develop serious complexity: it has wonderful mouthfeel, neither full nor light, it is poised beautifully in between with depth and great freshness. What 7 year old white Burgundy should be!

75% of the vines are more than 80 years old, the rest were replanted in the 1990s. Right on the border with Meursault. Bright gold. Silky/satiny texture and very 'cool' and savoury. If anything this tastes a little more evolved than I would have expected - no bad thing. Creamy textured and bone dry on the end. Very neat, even if far from opulent. Very satisfying,

Attractive bright yellow with green tints. Refined, open nose revealing fine floral, lemony and menthol notes with a mineral dimension asserting itself after airing. Beautiful ample, mouth-filling yet ethereal palate framed by consistent freshness.
