Collet's Chablis vines are located in several parcels amounting to over 16ha. One of the earliest exponents of an organic approach, the range here is distinctive and high quality. A vibrant, fresh, fruit-forward Chablis enhanced by mineral undertones. Already in very good balance, the acidity and flinty characters provide a fine structure for the weight of fruit. The Collet family have links in the region to 1792 and this is fine example with lots of potential.

A blend, which covers 15ha worth of fruit. A little touch of yellow in the colour. This is in the sunnier style rather than the more nervous. Good weight here, ripe fruit, pear and peach, soft, but stylish, with just enough acidity again. Tasted: July 2020

A fuller nose than that of the PC. More mouth-filling and with more presence too - slowly mouth-watering, nicely mineral. Relatively easy over the palate but tasty wine. Very good wine, again with an excellent finish.
