This all goes into barrels for vinification and elevage. Yet aside from a hint of toast, it has so much fresh fruit verve and tension that it isn't exactly easy to tell. There is a strong vein of minerality from the nose to the persistent finish, and the roaring acidity gives this a taut feel. It's spicy and lemony on the palate. 2022-32
