Very deep vibrant purple. Spiced aromas, blackberry, fresh minerals and dark cherry. Powdery tannins are very low, and acidity is big, classic Gamay. Bright fruits are juicy, with a combination of fresh dark fruits, like plum, blueberry, and deep red fruits like wild strawberry and raspberry. Alcohol is high for this wine, but it’s very balance and well-integrated. This is what your everyday glass of red should be like, while not overly complex it’s simply delicious and malleable with food.
