Dark fruits and a real savoury note, typical of 2014. There’s cherry and cherry stone, and a little kirsch and liquorice hiding behind. The palate has the same fruit notes with earthy spice and herbs. It is more savoury than the 2015. There’s plenty of power, depth and structure - the finishing tannins adding length and complexity whilst ensuring this wine will age very well.
