The largest Cru in Beaujolais, situated around Mont Brouilly. The wines are noted for their aromas of blueberries, cherries, raspberries and currants. The soil here is sandy loam producing a more delicate, supple wine with fine tannins.
Purple-garnet. Bright, fresh and inviting - jewel-like. Nose and palate showing lifted cherry and raspberry fruit. Good weight.

The 2018 Brouilly opens in the glass with aromas of blackberries, cassis, sweet soil tones and cracked pepper. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy but precise, it's generous but lively, with powdery tannins and a mouthwatering finish. Drink 2020-2026.
